I was privileged to receive a copy of both Before the Dawn and Sweet September and I loved them both! The characters living at Heather Creek are an interesting sort. The family, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle, and three grandchildren make up an unusual family that has been thrown together during tragic circumstances. The farm is supposed to be a place to heal but the question of whether the family can work together to do so has yet to be proven.

I just loved my adventure with this crazy family. There was never a dull moment and almost always something to laugh about as you follow this unconventional family during their first year together!
