Yet Another Insurance Hastle

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you fill your prescriptions at Walgreens you may want to check you insurance card before your next visit. Due to negotiation issues, Walgreens can no longer accept Express Script plans. Walgreens and Express Script have  been trying to solve this problem for a few months but they cannot seem to come to an agreement and on December 31st their contract ended.

Walgreens does want to help and they have made a new savings plan to help those customers effected by this change. Walgreens Prescription Savings Club  gives the member discounts on over 8000 brand-name and generic medications. You will also receive discounts on flu shots, pet medications, asthma supplies and diabetic supplies.

The best news is that through the end of January club membership comes at a discounted price. Right now you pay just $5 for an individual or $15 for a family membership. You can become a member online or by visiting your local pharmacy. Remember, this is a yearly deal so make sure you sign up this month at the discounted price to get the most out of your Savings Club membership.
